Nikol Pashinyan thanked President Ilham Aliyev
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for his contribution to establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
He made the statement at the ceremony for receiving the Hessian Peace Prize.
"I would also like to express my gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who equally deserves this prize. I also want to express my gratitude to the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Despite the hardships, human losses, and suffering caused by the conflict, they accepted and supported peace, realizing that they cannot change the past but can change the present and the future, choosing the prospect of peace, prosperity, and cooperation instead of a conflict that seemed endless," Pashinyan said.
