Azerbaijani kamikaze drones and robots to be showcased at ADEX 2026
Small arms, kamikaze drones and robots of Azerbaijani manufacture will be presented at the ADEX 2026 exhibition.
This was stated by Samir Aghabalayev, head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Industry, at a press conference dedicated to ADEX 2026 — the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition — and Securex Caspian 2026 — the 15th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Protection and Rescue.
He noted that over the past 20 years Azerbaijan's defense industry has developed significantly.
"New products are expected at ADEX 2026. We are working on the development of Azerbaijan's defense industry. This year's exhibition will feature small arms, kamikaze drones and robots of Azerbaijani manufacture.
A priority direction is the development of new technologies. Amid the rapid development of technologies in the world, the nature of warfare is also changing. Over time, it is necessary to adapt to these changes," the ministry's representative added.
