Foreign Ministry — Azerbaijan does not recognize the fictitious "presidential elections" in Georgia's Tskhinvali region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan does not recognize the fictitious "presidential elections" held in Georgia's Tskhinvali region, nor their results.

This was stated in a statement by Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry in connection with the holding of the fictitious "presidential elections" in Georgia's Tskhinvali region.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan once again reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and does not recognize the fictitious 'presidential elections' held in Georgia's Tskhinvali region, nor their results," the statement said.
