Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at the meeting of the Contact Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Jammu and Kashmir, held as part of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this in a post on the social network X.

The minister once again confirmed Azerbaijan's commitment to a peaceful settlement of the issue in accordance with international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter and the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Jeyhun Bayramov also emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to normalize relations between India and Pakistan in terms of strengthening regional peace and stability.
