Wladimir Klitschko files petition regarding Hayden Panettiere's estate

Former world boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko has petitioned a Los Angeles court to be temporarily appointed guardian of the estate of his 11-year-old daughter Kaya, born from his relationship with actress Hayden Panettiere.

This was reported by the Associated Press.

W. Klitschko claims that Kaya is the sole heir to her mother's estate and asks to be granted authority to protect her interests in the probate process.

Court documents state that W. Klitschko fears the loss or damage of H. Panettiere's property. According to him, some of the actress's personal belongings, including jewelry, may have disappeared. He also stated that outsiders may have had access to her home.

A court hearing on the issue of temporary guardianship of Kaya's inheritance is scheduled for October 8.

W. Klitschko and H. Panettiere began dating in 2009, and in 2014 their daughter Kaya was born. In 2018, the actress granted Klitschko full custody of the girl.

Recall that Hayden Panettiere died on August 16 at the age of 36 — the cause of death was an overdose linked to fentanyl and other substances; the investigation into the circumstances of her death is ongoing.
