STM is ready to deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of drones
The Turkish company STM (Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş.), which specializes in military shipbuilding, unmanned systems, and cybersecurity, is ready to further deepen its cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Özgür Güleryüz, the general director of STM, who is taking part in the "Teknofest" festival in Turkey's Şanlıurfa, told AZERTAC about this.
According to him, certain developments by STM specialists are already being used in Azerbaijan.
"We are ready to transfer technology to the brotherly country, making no distinction between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Among the promising areas, we are considering unmanned marine drones, which can ensure the protection of critical infrastructure, including underwater pipelines," said Ö. Güleryüz.
He also noted that STM is represented at the VI International Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX 2026 in Baku.
According to the company's general director, STM's developments can contribute to the further improvement of drone production in Azerbaijan.
"Drones produced in brotherly Azerbaijan using STM technologies can, if necessary, be supplied to Turkey or enter the markets of other countries," Ö. Güleryüz explained.
The general director of STM also noted that the technological race in the field of improving UAVs continues. "STM strives to keep pace with its competitors by expanding its line of drones. We are ready for new contacts with Azerbaijan," he emphasized.
