Azerbaijan and the UAE discussed the development of military cooperation

Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mohammed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to take part in the VI Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2026.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense, during the meeting Zakir Hasanov noted the positive results of the strengthening of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in recent times.

In turn, Mohammed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei emphasized the effectiveness of mutual visits, meetings, and the exchange of experience.

The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of military and military-technical cooperation, the conduct of joint exercises, as well as the importance of dialogue on defense and security issues.
