Pashinyan: So far there are no signals about an increase in the price of Russian gas

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the country's government is considering different scenarios regarding gas supplies.

At a briefing on October 1, answering a question about the possibility of an increase in tariffs on Russian gas, Pashinyan said that so far there are no such signals.

"At the moment there are no signals about this, which is why I do not consider it necessary to discuss the issue. When there are, we will discuss it. Are we thinking about how to manage the situation? Yes, because this is not news," Pashinyan said, explaining that since 2018 he has faced this situation every year, because "the questions are constantly raised."

According to the prime minister, different scenarios are being considered, not only on this issue but on other issues as well. "At the moment there is no such thing," Pashinyan repeated.
