Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Baku in the coming days
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Baku in the coming days.
Sodyq Safoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, said this to Trend on Thursday on the sidelines of the CAMCA 2026 Regional Forum in Baku.
"As part of the visit, it is planned to sign a package of agreements on economic cooperation and the joint development of Karabakh," he said.
It should be recalled that Baku is hosting for the first time the annual CAMCA (Central Asia, Mongolia, Caucasus and Afghanistan) Regional Forum, dedicated to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and sustainable economic development in Central Asia, Mongolia, the South Caucasus, and Afghanistan.
The forum brought together representatives of private business and the public sector, high-ranking officials, investors, entrepreneurs, and experts.
The two-day event will discuss issues of expanding cooperation in the region, promoting economic growth, and social development.
