Ben Affleck admits he used AI in making his new film - VIDEO

Actor and director Ben Affleck has said that he used artificial intelligence "for a lot of things" while making his new film "Animals."

Affleck spoke about this during an appearance at the Bloomberg Screentime event - however, the director declined to specify exactly which tasks the technology was used for, explaining that he does not want to destroy the "illusion of reality" for viewers, People reports.

Ben Affleck called the film a good example of the ethical use of AI and emphasized that the picture remains "very human."

"Animals" is a Netflix thriller in which Affleck served as director, co-writer, and star. The film tells the story of a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles whose son is kidnapped. The movie also stars Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson, and Steven Yeun.

The premiere is scheduled for October 9, 2026, on Netflix.
