Jeyhun Bayramov Discusses Iranian Drone Attacks on Nakhchivan with OTG Secretary-General
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Secretary-General of the OTG, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, in Istanbul during an informal meeting of the organization's Council of Foreign Ministers.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the current security situation in the Middle East and the observed escalation in the region.
The drone attacks carried out from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan were condemned. It was noted that these actions not only contradict the norms and principles of international law but also contribute to the growing tension in the region.
It was emphasized that, amidst increasing geopolitical tension and the international security environment, strengthening solidarity and coordination within the framework of the OTG takes on special significance.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
