11-Day Holidays Begin in Azerbaijan on March 20
In Azerbaijan, an 11-day holiday period begins on March 20.
As reported by Report, this year the holidays of Novruz and Ramadan coincide on the same dates, which has increased the number of non-working days.
Novruz is celebrated from March 20 to 24. Since March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday, in accordance with the Labor Code, March 25 and 26 are also declared non-working days.
Additionally, due to the overlap of Ramadan holiday days with weekends, March 27 and 30 have also been declared non-working days.
The first working day after the holidays will be March 31.
