In Agdere, a civilian was injured by a mine in an uncleared area
On April 1, a mine incident occurred near the settlement of Sugovushan in the Agdere district.
As reported to APA by the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), a resident of the village of Hajigarvend in the Agdere district, Mahir Abdullah oglu Magerramov, born in 1982, sustained an injury to his right leg as a result of stepping on an anti-personnel mine in an uncleared section of the former line of contact.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Terter district.
"ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the General Prosecutor's Office once again urge citizens to adhere to safety rules, pay attention to mine hazard signs, avoid entering unfamiliar areas, and refrain from accessing fenced-off territories," the statement reads.
Recall that a mine incident had previously occurred in the Agdere district.
As reported by 1news.az, the incident took place in the territory of the Sugovushan settlement. As a result of the incident, Mahir Abdullah oglu Magerramov, a resident of the district, was injured.
The injured person was taken to the central district hospital of the Terter district.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
