Progressive Bulgaria leads in elections after processing 68% of protocols
The Progressive Bulgaria coalition, led by former President Rumen Radev, is leading in the early parliamentary elections in the republic.
This is evidenced by official data from the counting of 68.34% of protocols, published on the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
As of 07:00 local time, Progressive Bulgaria is receiving 44.487% of the voters' votes. The bloc of the We Continue the Change party and the Democratic Bulgaria coalition received 14.002%, the coalition of the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party and the Union of Democratic Forces - 13.104%, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms - 5.386%, and the Revival party - 4.516%.
Early parliamentary elections took place in Bulgaria on Sunday. Representatives of 14 parties and 10 coalitions competed for 240 seats in the National Assembly of the 52nd convocation.
