Iran declares it will not negotiate with the US in an atmosphere of threats
Iran will not negotiate with the US if Washington continues to threaten the Islamic Republic.
This was stated by the Speaker of the Iranian Majlis (parliament), Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
"[US President Donald] Trump wants to turn negotiations into a signing of capitulation. But we do not accept dialogue conducted in an atmosphere of constant threats," Ghalibaf wrote on X.
The Speaker of the Iranian parliament added that his country "is ready to demonstrate a new balance of power on the battlefield," and preparations for this, according to him, "have been underway for the past two weeks."
