103rd anniversary of the National Leader's birth commemorated in Paris - PHOTO

In Paris, the memory of the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, was honored on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of his birth.

As reported by AZERTAC, speakers at the commemorative event organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, including Ambassador Leyla Abdullayeva, the Permanent Representative of our country to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev, and the Military Attaché of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in France, Colonel Javid Abdullayev, spoke about how the Great Leader successfully guided our people through complex historical and political challenges of the time and, through his determined struggle, led them to independence.

It was noted that, as a result of the Great Leader's strategy, Azerbaijan has today become a guarantor of stability in the entire region. The National Leader played an invaluable role in establishing close partnership relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO, as well as with other prestigious international organizations, and in joining many of them.

It was emphasized that modern Azerbaijan, confidently advancing on the path of sustainable progress, is a triumph of Heydar Aliyev's lifelong ideal. The policy laid down by the Great Leader is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

It was also mentioned that the masterpiece of the National Leader – the modern independent Azerbaijani state – achieved a glorious Victory under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, in the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 and the localized anti-terrorist measures conducted in 2023, thereby restoring its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Thanks to the far-sighted policy of President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the wise political course of the Great Leader, Azerbaijan is currently experiencing a period of its greatest strength. Declaring itself as a victorious and authoritative state, Azerbaijan is confidently moving toward new heights on the international stage.

It was underscored that the Azerbaijani people always hold the memory of Heydar Aliyev in high regard and remember with gratitude the man who rendered unparalleled services to his people, took pride in being Azerbaijani throughout his life, and remains a source of our national pride.
