Coach Enzo Maresca has signed a contract with Manchester City.

Official announcement about the appointment of the new head coach is expected soon, reports journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.

According to the source, the 46-year-old Italian has signed an agreement with the club that will be in effect until 2029. Manchester City management has given Maresca full authority to form the team's transfer strategy.

Enzo Maresca became a free agent after leaving London Chelsea in January of this year. He has experience working at Manchester City, he was part of Josep Guardiola's coaching staff from 2022 to 2023. Previously, the Italian also worked with the club's youth teams.
