Azerbaijan judo team wins gold at European Youth Cup

The Azerbaijan judo team won a gold medal on the first day of the European Youth Cup in Graz, Austria.

As reported to Report by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, Magomed Musaev (66 kg) defeated representatives of Germany, Croatia, Belgium, and Hungary on his way to the final.

In the decisive match, Musaev won by ippon over Serbian athlete Marko Jorkic.

It should be noted that the team currently ranks first in the men's medal standings and fifth in the overall standings.
