President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Azerbaijan's national team, which became the winner of the European Championship in futsal.

As 1news.az reports, a publication about this was posted on the head of state's accounts on social networks.

"Azerbaijan's futsal national team, which became the European champion in 2022 and the world champion in 2025, has written another bright page in the sports history of our country and once again won the title of European champion. It is doubly joyful that this victory was achieved in a team sport.

I sincerely congratulate our team on this magnificent victory and wish our national team new and new successes," the publication says.
