FIFA calls 2026 World Cup the best in history
FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that he considers the 2026 World Cup the best in history.
The organization's press service reported his words.
"This is the most successful event in history. The stadiums are full, there are many people in the cities, the atmosphere is magnificent. There are many families, many children, many women in the stadiums, and this is really wonderful," Infantino said.
The World Cup started on June 11 and will last until July 19 in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The defending champion is the Argentina national team, which in the 2022 final proved stronger than the France team.
