Media: ex-France national team footballer Nasri detained in drug case

Former midfielder for Arsenal and Manchester City Samir Nasri was detained on suspicion of money laundering and drug trafficking.

According to the source, Nasri spent about 10 hours in custody at the Paris police. He was questioned as part of a judicial investigation opened on suspicion of criminal conspiracy and money laundering related to drug trafficking as part of an organized group. However, in the evening the former footballer was released without charges being brought against him.

Nasri announced his retirement at the age of 34 in 2021. Currently, he works as an expert on television.
