US and Iran report on nighttime strikes against each other
American forces have completed strikes on Iran that lasted for the seventh consecutive night, according to a statement from the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
According to CENTCOM, during the latest series of strikes, surveillance facilities, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons depots, and maritime facilities were hit. In addition to other means, American forces used fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and warships.
“CENTCOM continues to hold Iran accountable at the direction of the Commander-in-Chief, fully ensuring compliance with the naval blockade of Iranian ports. More than 50,000 American servicemen are operating in the Middle East, maintaining vigilance, high combat effectiveness, and readiness,” the statement emphasizes.
In turn, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims the “destruction” during nighttime strikes as part of the 19th wave of Operation “Nasr 2” of a fuel refueling pier for American fleet ships in Kuwait, an air base in Bahrain, an intelligence data processing center, and a radio communications center, writes the Fars agency.
