Bahrain announces interception of several Iranian aerial attacks

Bahrain's defense forces intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial targets.

As AlJazeera reports, this is stated in a statement from the General Command of the Bahrain Armed Forces.

"The General Command confirms that all its weapons systems and units are in a state of highest readiness and remain fully prepared to defend the Kingdom," the armed forces statement said.

The statement also notes that the use of missiles and drones to strike civilian populations and private property constitutes a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
