About 350 cases filed in Tehran against US and Israel over damage from wars
A court in Tehran has registered at least 350 lawsuits against the US and Israel in connection with damage inflicted on the Islamic Republic and its citizens during two wars - in the summer of 2025 and in the spring of 2026.
This was reported by Es'hagh Jahangir, a representative of the Iranian judiciary.
"As of today, 260 cases against the US and the Zionist regime (meaning Israel - ed.) have been registered in the 55th branch of the Tehran Civil Court. These cases involve more than 300 thousand individual and legal plaintiffs," he noted during a press conference, speaking about the damage from the 12-day war in June 2025.
Regarding the damage inflicted by the US and Israel during the war that began on February 28, 2026, Jahangir noted that work on documenting and collecting information is still ongoing. "In the case of the Ramadan war, 90 cases have been initiated to date, and their consideration continues," he added.
