Number of Ebola victims in DR Congo approaches 900

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the number of people who died from Ebola fever has increased to 893.

It is noted that the number of confirmed cases of infection with the virus has increased to 2,267.

The outbreak of the disease in DR Congo began in May. According to the authorities, it is about the Bundibugyo strain, for which neither a vaccine nor specific treatment has been created yet.

The World Health Organization considers the current outbreak one of the largest in the country's history. Doctors and authorities continue to monitor the spread of the infection and take measures to contain it.
