Russia begins fining for storing gasoline
In Russia, administrative liability has begun to be imposed for storing large reserves of gasoline in garages and basements, reports the Russian press.
The first reports have already been drawn up in the Pskov region, said the governor of the region Mikhail Vedernikov in his Telegram channel.
Raids were carried out in households and garage cooperatives. During the inspections, gross violations of fire safety rules were identified — citizens stored significant volumes of fuel in garages, which is strictly prohibited.
Reports were drawn up against the violators under the article for violation of fire safety requirements.
Individuals face a warning or a fine from 5 to 15 thousand rubles, legal entities — from 150 to 300 thousand rubles (1рубль/0,013 долларов США)
The governor urged residents not to store gasoline and other flammable liquids in garages and basements and to comply with fire safety rules.
