Iran received 'some proposals' from intermediaries on de-escalating the situation
Iran received proposals from intermediaries to cease fire and de-escalate the conflict with the US, stated official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ismail Bagai.
"There are some proposals, we received them, but let me not go into details," he said during a briefing, answering a question about the presence of proposals regarding a ceasefire with the US.
The diplomat noted that intermediaries are dealing with the issue of de-escalating tensions that arose in July between Tehran and Washington.
American military from July 8 conducted several series of attacks on Iran. The US Central Command claimed that this was done allegedly in response to Iran's actions against commercial vessels that crossed the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian military responded with strikes on US bases in a number of Middle Eastern countries.
