IRGC announces Jordanian assistance in strikes on US bases

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran (IRGC) claims that Jordanians provided data on US bases for Tehran to carry out strikes.

Earlier, the IRGC reported that Iranian forces struck US Armed Forces C-17 and P-8 aircraft with ballistic missiles at Aqaba Airport in southern Jordan.

"We thank you for your sincere cooperation and reliable information - this allowed our military to accurately determine the target and hit twenty hangars at US forces locations at Al-Azraq base and eliminate dozens of American servicemen," the IRGC press service said in a statement.

US President Donald Trump stated on July 8 that the ceasefire reached with Iran on the night of June 18 is no longer in effect. US forces have carried out several series of attacks on Iran since July 8. The US Central Command claimed that this was allegedly in response to Iran's actions against commercial vessels crossing the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian forces responded with strikes on US bases in several Middle Eastern countries. Tehran also accused Washington of violating the memorandum on the cessation of hostilities.
