IRGC announces death of American soldiers in strike on Jordan
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran (IRGC) claims that American soldiers were killed as a result of strikes on Jordan.
"As part of the 24th phase of Operation Nasr-2, the aerospace forces of the IRGC, having attacked the complex where American army soldiers were stationed in the Rukban area in Jordan, destroyed several of them," the statement published by the IRGC press service says.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated on July 20 that Iran would face multiple retaliation for every American soldier killed, adding that he had already issued the corresponding directive to the U.S. military command.
