Narek Karapetyan loses parliamentary immunity

The Central Election Commission of Armenia has deprived Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political council of the Strong Armenia bloc and nephew of the Russian-Armenian oligarch and leader of this bloc Samvel Karapetyan, of parliamentary immunity, it reports.

N. Karapetyan only yesterday received the deputy mandate.

He is accused of concealing the fact of dual citizenship and evading service in the army.
