Iran not yet ready to conclude peace deal, Rubio says
The United States believes that Iran is not yet ready to conclude a deal, but the situation will change soon, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
"They are probably not ready to conclude a deal yet, but they will be soon, because the price they are paying is very high," Rubio told reporters in Manila.
The United States allows that Tehran may change its position on the issue of peaceful dialogue with Washington in the coming days, the secretary of state also said.
"They violated the memorandum of understanding a few days after it entered into force. We fulfilled our part of the agreement, so now they are paying for it, and perhaps in the next few days they will change their minds," he told reporters in Manila.
