In Istanbul, 30 people injured in bus accident
At least 30 people were injured in a bus accident in Istanbul, two of them seriously.
This was reported by the TRT Haber TV channel.
The accident occurred in the morning in the Eyupsultan district in the European part of the Turkish metropolis. According to the preliminary police version, the bus driver lost control on a slippery road, crashed into a car ahead, and then into a pole with a road sign. All the injured are local citizens, including children, the municipal administration told journalists.
Another serious accident occurred on the night of July 25 in the province of Kirikkale in the European part of Turkey, reports the IHA agency. There, the driver also lost control in bad weather, the bus left the Kirikkale - Corum highway and overturned. 40 people were injured, none of them foreigners, local authorities said.
