Iran inflicts $20 billion in damage on US over two weeks of fighting
Over two weeks of combat operations, Iran has inflicted damage exceeding $20 billion on US armed forces.
These figures are provided by the Tasnim agency, citing a statement from Hossein Mohebi, the official representative of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
According to statistical data, from July 7 to 31, Iranian armed forces attacked dozens of command centers, defense systems, early warning radars, communication centers, ammunition and fuel depots, logistical infrastructure, aircraft hangars, fighters, drones, and support equipment at US bases in the region.
Based on this list and the approximate cost of the claimed equipment and infrastructure, as published in the US Department of War budget and other documents, the damage could reach $20 billion. The largest share of US financial losses consists of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, which are considered the most important components of the US Army's air defense system.
