Media: Iran may strike the capital of Ukraine
Iran may strike Ukraine's capital Kyiv using drones or missiles.
This is reported by Al Jazeera.
The channel notes that from a technical point of view, such a strike is possible, since the distance between Tehran and Kyiv is less than 2,000 km, which is within the range of Iranian drones and missiles.
This possibility began to be discussed after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the attack by Ukrainian military on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea and stated that it would not go unanswered.
Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine attacked an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, as a result of which one crew member was killed and two were injured. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, in turn, wrote on Telegram that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck vessels in the Caspian Sea used for transporting military cargo from Iran to Russia.
