Network of Jewish-owned bakeries shot at in Toronto

A group of unidentified individuals in Toronto attacked two bakeries of a local chain belonging to ethnic Jews.

This was reported by CNN, citing the city's police.

According to law enforcement, one of the bakeries was attacked with firearms, and the walls of another establishment were damaged with blunt objects. The police have launched an investigation into the hate crime.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow described the incident as anti-Semitic actions and called them "vile and unacceptable." She promised to step up the fight against such crimes.
