Verstka: demand for apartments from Russians grows in Armenia

Russians have started looking for apartments in Armenia more often, and rental prices in Yerevan have risen, writes Verstka, citing local realtors.

Realtors said that they noticed "huge demand" for apartments among Russians, who are traveling mainly to Yerevan.

They compare the situation to 2022 and note that rental prices in Yerevan have risen by about 30% over the past three months.

Verstka noted that in one of the Telegram channels popular among Russians for searching real estate, dozens of new advertisements appear daily from those who have already flown to Armenia or are planning to emigrate in the fall.

According to Yandex Wordstat, in the week from July 13 to 19, the number of queries "apartments in Yerevan" reached 5.2 thousand. In the week from February 28 to March 6, 2022, there were 5 thousand such queries, and there was a surge during the mobilization in September 2022 (almost 10 thousand).
