Azerbaijan's Greco-Roman wrestling team finishes second in team standings at World Championship

Azerbaijan's Greco-Roman wrestling team finished second in the team standings at the U-17 World Championship, scoring 107 points.

As Report informs, the Russian team finished the tournament, held in Baku, in first place with 127 points, while Iran took third position with 96 points.

The Azerbaijani wrestlers ended the tournament with a total of 6 medals. Ali Javadli (45 kg), Abdurrahman Huseynli (51 kg), and Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) won silver medals, while Omer Salmanov (48 kg), Elmir Cherkezov (60 kg), and Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) took bronze.
