Polish prime minister calls the next 100 days decisive for the fighting in Ukraine

The next 100 days could determine how the conflict between Russia and Ukraine ends, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

"The situation is 50-50. Many mechanisms are in the hands of the U.S. president and several other individuals. Elon Musk's decisions regarding Starlink and other systems are of enormous importance," he said.

Tusk noted that other European countries look to Poland on this issue: "When I talk with our allies in Europe, for them we are still — although cracks have appeared — but we still remain a point of reference."

He also said that today's incident with a Russian missile that fell on Polish territory only strengthened his determination to support Ukraine in its struggle against Russia.

"Poland's security depends directly and unconditionally on the effective actions of the Ukrainian military, including in the air. If the Ukrainians had far more of what they have been asking for all this time, perhaps this ballistic missile would not have been launched toward Poland," Tusk emphasized.

The prime minister said that Poland is determined to do everything possible "so that Ukraine does not lose this war."
