Zelensky fired Fedorov over his preparation for presidential elections
The reason for the dismissal of former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov could have been his preparation for the presidential elections.
Such an opinion was expressed by Ukrainian journalist Vladimir Boyko.
As EDnews reports, according to his data, Fedorov met with representatives of Western grant organizations and discussed with them a possible election campaign. A recording of the conversation was allegedly passed to the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, after which the minister's fate was sealed.
"Zelensky left Misha out in the cold. The reason was Fedorov's meeting with those who are called 'Sorosites.' During the meeting, the participation of the 'Sorosites' in Fedorov's upcoming presidential campaign was discussed," Boyko wrote on social media.
The journalist provided no other confirmation of this version. Fedorov himself explained his resignation by resistance to reforms in the Ukrainian defense system.
