Death toll from earthquakes in Venezuela exceeds 6,000

The number of people killed as a result of the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela has risen to 6,125.

This was reported by the speaker of the republic's National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, on his Telegram channel.

Thus, the deaths of another 579 people became known — a week ago the authorities of the Bolivarian Republic reported 5,546 dead. As Rodríguez specified, assistance was provided to 60,992 patients injured in the earthquake.
