Five people killed, six wounded in drone attack on the Moscow region

Drones attacked a warehouse in Chekhov, in the Moscow region; there are fatalities and injuries, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, reported.

"This morning, air defense forces repelled a drone attack on the Moscow region. The main consequences were recorded in the municipal district of Chekhov. In the industrial zone of Novoselki, several fires broke out as a result of drone strikes. The largest was at a warehouse, where the open flames have already been extinguished. (...) According to preliminary information, five people were killed and six more were injured," Vorobyov told reporters on Tuesday.

All the injured are receiving the necessary medical care. "I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims," Vorobyov added.

It is noted that an electrical substation and an administrative building were also damaged. Emergency services are working at the scene.

In addition, in the village of Solnyshkovo, drone debris damaged a private house and a car; there were no injuries.

"The military continues to repel the attack. Drones are being recorded over the territory of the Moscow region in the Volokolamsk, Klin, Chekhov, and Serebryanye Prudy districts. We will keep you informed," the governor emphasized.
