Azerbaijani judokas won 7 medals at the European Cup
The Junior European Judo Cup has concluded in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
It is noted that on the final day of the tournament, the Azerbaijani national team won 2 gold and 4 bronze medals.
Khadija Gadashova (under 57 kg) and Davud Namazly (under 100 kg), having defeated all their opponents, became winners of the tournament.
Nargiz Ahmadova and Gulgaz Musayeva (both under 48 kg), Ayten Verdiyeva (under 57 kg) and Janpolad Aliyev (under 100 kg) won bronze medals.
Recall that on the first day of the competition, Nilgun Rzayeva (under 63 kg) also won a bronze medal.
Thus, the Azerbaijani national team finished the European Cup, in which representatives of 33 countries took part, in third place in the team standings with 7 medals — 2 gold and 5 bronze.
