Ekaterina Sarieva breaks Azerbaijan record

Azerbaijani athlete Ekaterina Sarieva has broken the national record in the triple jump at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham (United Kingdom).

As 1news.az reports, citing the Athletics Federation of Azerbaijan, the athlete posted a result of 13.91 meters.

This result did not allow the Azerbaijani track and field athlete to advance to the final of the continental championship.

Note that the previous national record (13.89 meters) also belonged to Sarieva.
