Sabah ready to cooperate with UEFA and law enforcement after incident involving fans
Football club Sabah has announced its readiness to cooperate with UEFA and law enforcement agencies in connection with the incident involving fans ahead of the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League against Aarhus.
The corresponding statement was published on the club's official website.
The club emphasized that it does not support or justify physical aggression regardless of the circumstances. Sabah is also ready to hand over the available materials, including surveillance camera footage, to the competent authorities.
According to available information, prior to the incident, fans of the Danish team made aggressive remarks directed at local fans.
The club called on local and foreign fans to observe mutual respect and football culture.
As a reminder, Sabah crushed Aarhus with a score of 4:0 and advanced to the playoffs of the UEFA Champions League.
