Armenia's Defense Ministry reports the death of a serviceman

Armenian serviceman Edgar Zakaryan was found dead at one of the military units, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported.

The body of the serviceman with a gunshot wound was discovered today. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.

This is the second case of a soldier's death in peacetime in the past month. In July, the death of conscript soldier Narek Torosyan was reported.
