Another powerful earthquake strikes Indonesia
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 was recorded on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to its data, the epicenter of the disaster was located 70 km southeast of the city of Percut (North Sumatra province), which is home to about 311,000 people. The focus lay at a depth of 183 km.
No information about casualties or destruction has been received. No tsunami threat was declared.
