The government of Armenia announced the creation of the Fourth Republic

The government of Armenia has published its program for 2026–2031, which will be discussed at a government session on August 20, after which it will be sent to the National Assembly.

The 85-page program concludes with the following thesis:

"On the basis of this program, the government will adopt a five-year program of measures for the implementation of its activities and will begin to carry it out. As a result of the program's implementation, the formation of a state of new quality and the assurance of its development are expected. Thus, the Republic of Armenia is entering that stage of its history which we call the Fourth Republic."
