Harry and Meghan Markle return to the United Kingdom after six years
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will move to the United Kingdom in the coming days.
This was reported by The Telegraph.
After six years in the United States, the family will return to the United Kingdom. The move is expected to take place before the end of August. The couple will live in a private country residence that does not belong to the royal family. Their children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, will start at a British school in September.
The move will put an end to years of feuding with King Charles III and Harry's older brother, the heir to the British throne, Prince William. It began in 2020, when Harry and Meghan scandalously refused to carry out the duties of senior members of the British royal family and left for the United States.
King Charles III learned about the upcoming move on Sunday, August 16. The Telegraph's sources claim that the monarch is glad of the opportunity to see his loved ones more often. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, who were considered the main opponents of Harry's return to his homeland, were also informed about the move.
As far as is known, Harry and Meghan do not yet intend to resume performing official duties in the royal family.
