Azerbaijan rises to 25th place in the UEFA rankings, overtaking Slovenia

Azerbaijan has overtaken Slovenia and closed in on Israel in the UEFA rankings.

As 1news.az reports, Azerbaijan's latest points in the UEFA rankings were earned by FC Sabah, which the day before defeated Israel's Hapoel Be'er Sheva 5:2 in the return leg of the Champions League playoff round.

Azerbaijan ultimately rose to 25th place with a coefficient of 23.687, overtaking Slovenia (22.843).

Israel is in 24th place (23.750).

England leads the rankings (101.907).
