Nepal flood death toll rises to 734 people

The death toll from the devastating flooding in Nepal has reached 734 people.

The country's National Disaster Management Authority updated the data in a report on the X platform, confirming that 734 bodies had been found. Previously, 675 victims of the disaster had been reported.

Rescue services managed to evacuate nearly 8,200 people, including 227 foreign nationals. At the same time, about 2,500 people are still considered missing, including 580 foreigners. More than 19,800 security service personnel are involved in the disaster relief efforts and search operations.
